Craig's primary role is to lead on the technology strategy at Hammock. He also has responsibility for the IT platform strategy, network architecture and platform design. In addition, he leads on future innovation including IoT, connected autonomous vehicles, blockchain and the concepts of a digital railway. At Hammock, he is involved in building truly innovative and capable customer solutions and platforms to enable a SMARTER UK and a SMARTER world.
Previously Craig worked for BT Global Services in Amsterdam, becoming Senior Operations Manager of its Global Services, before moving to Interoute Communications in Prague. During his time at Interoute he held a number of senior management positions across operations, delivery, and engineering before moving to Sofia, Bulgaria to build a next-generation Network Operations Centre. In 2012 Craig moved to Network Rail Telecom in a newly formed role of Head of Technology and Engineering, where he delivered several major telecom programmes including the deployment of a next-generation national telecoms network and building an internal service provider capability. He also represented telecoms on the Network Rail R&D Board. Craig is Group CTO at Go-Ahead Group.
