Kanwar is responsible for the operational performance and continuous service improvement at Hammock. He has previously worked at various positions with key global transport ticketing and information providers, and has a unique experience of working both with suppliers and clients in the industry. He is an expert in fare collections, passenger information and digital ticketing covering traditional ticketing, ITSO smartcards, contactless and mobile ticketing, journey planning, RTPI, e-commerce and CMS solutions. Kanwar also has a wealth of experience from modelling strategies and process re-design to maximisation of efficiencies and reformation of teams for better alignment with the wider business operations.
He has a strong background in delivering large, technically and commercially complex programmes on time and on budget, as well as recovering those programmes that have become troubled. He has developed an extensive understanding of public transport regulations, technical, strategic and operational challenges, while also delivering various critical transport ticketing and customer information initiatives in both the bus and rail transport sectors. Kanwar is Head of Retail and Customer solutions at Go-Ahead Group.
